Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have sent the internet (and the world) into a tizzy many times over the past couple of weeks. The couple recently dropped a bombshell on the world when they revealed plans to step down from the positions as "_senior members" of the royal family.

The couple plan to split their time between North America and the UK and have expressed interest in becoming "financially independent." They also plan to focus heavily on new forms of charity work.

One of those new charity initiatives is a currently untitled voiceover project with Disney. Prince Harry threw the internet for a loop when he was caught on camera pitching Duchess Meghan's voiceover talents to Disney chief Bob Iger.

In the video, Duchess Meghan is having a friendly chat with Beyonce while Prince Harry talks her up to Iger. Harry tells Iger his wife is available and interested in voiceover work. Iger replies he was unaware of this and is interested in a deal.

Social media users immediately weighed in on the video, airing their approval or grievances with Prince Harry's actions. Fierce debate sprung up around the video.

Some people admonished the prince, seeing his efforts to get his wife cast as a power play and a clear act of nepotism. They believed Prince Harry was using his status to get his partner a job she wouldn't land with an audition. Others cheered Harry's pitch, commending him for showing support in his wife's talents.

Actually, It Was Two Pitches

Well, it turns out, Disney's chief wasn't the only person Prince Harry made a voiceover pitch to. In a recently resurfaced video, both Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan can be heard talking to the live-action The Lion King director Jon Favreau, informing him of their interest in voiceover work.

In the video, Harry tells Favreau the couple can make themselves available should the opportunity arise. Meghan quips pitching themselves was the entire reason they showed up to the event and Harry jokingly refuses to play an Scar-type characters.

Despite these pitches to Disney, Prince Harry isn't just using his status to get rich and famous. Duchess Meghan's Disney salary will be donated to a charity that works to protect elephants from poachers.

Harry has frequently expressed his desire to protect his family from the pressures of royal living and has reportedly decided to take this step as a response to harassment from the British press. Unnamed sources recently revealed Meghan and Harry had decided on their royal exit before the birth of their son.
