It looks like there was a Little Mix member who wanted OUT of the band before Jesy Nelson’s shocking exit.
Nearly one year ago, the girl group comprised of four women shrunk by one member. Jesy announced in December 2020 that she would be taking an indefinite hiatus from the British pop group.
She cited mental health reasons but knowing what we know now… so she could start a solo career.
Unfortunately, her big solo debut, "Boyz," was overshadowed by blackfishing claims.

However, new reports have surfaced that Perrie Edwards tried to leave the group two years ago, about a year before Jesy made her exit.
According to an exclusive report from The Sun, in 2019 Perrie approached her bosses and said that she saw her time with the group coming to an end.
Perrie’s reported announcement came during a sit-down meeting to discuss their Confetti Tour which was set for 2020; however, the pandemic hit and it has since been rescheduled for 2022.
During this meeting, Perrie reportedly said she wanted to go on the road with the girls one last time.

However, the girls were met with Jesy’s departure news and that put a halt in Perrie’s plans. This is when the girls decided to continue on as a group of three.
An insider revealed, “This idea that everyone was happy in the band prior to Jesy leaving is a smokescreen. Perrie actually told the band she was thinking about leaving in 2019 which prompted a sit down with management.”
The insider continued, “In the end she agreed it wasn’t the right time and they talked about the Confetti tour which was delayed due to Covid - it was known that after the tour Perrie would bow out of the group.”
Perrie, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwallwill pursue solo careers once the Confetti Tour ends in 2022, according to The Sun.

Little Mix just celebrated their 10-year-anniversary and will be releasing a new album, “Between Us,” in honor of their decade of musical work.
Back in August, the girl group's official Instagram account announced the exciting news.
“Between Us 🤍 12.11. We are so excited about this album. It includes all our hits, as well as some brand new songs we can't wait for you to hear. We can't thank you all enough for your support over the last ten years... this album is for each and every one of you who's listened to our music, bought an album or sung your heart out at one of our shows,” the caption read.

As Mixers know, both Perrie and Leigh-Anne became first-time mothers this year. Perrie welcomed a baby boy while Leigh-Anne welcomed home twins!
They’ve certainly got their plates full, so maybe an entire disbanding is necessary.
