Although Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston haven't been a couple for well over a decade now, there are plenty of people who can't let the relationship die in their hearts. At the SAG Awards on Sunday night, the two shared a reunion after they both picked up trophies.

Pitt won his for "Once Upon a Time...In Hollywood," and Aniston won hers for "The Morning Show." After their wins, they were photographed congratulating each other, and those photos set the internet on fire.

Even celebrities aren't immune from the fever that comes with seeing lost loves rekindled, so when these two reunited, plenty of celebrities went a little nuts about it.

"WE WILL BE TELLING OUR GRANDKIDS ABOUT THIS," Jamie Lynn Spears wrote in the comments of E! News' photo of Aniston walking away from Pitt. "THATS HOW IMPORTANT THIS IS."

While that reaction may seem a little out of proportion, it's not that far off from how the rest of the internet was feeling.

"Oh.," Sarah Hyland wrote. Jordin Sparks, meanwhile, went with "Omg." followed by a crying emoji. No one was okay, but everyone was not okay together.

Jana Kramer wrote "Ugh, my heart," while Rumer Willis said "My tender heart can't take this."

Pitt and Aniston likely didn't mean to set the internet on fire by sharing a moment together. After all, the two have been close friends in recent years. Given the fact that they're both single, though, it felt almost inevitable.

Aniston and Pitt were married from 2000 to 2005. That relationship famously ended after rumors began swirling that Pitt was cheating on Aniston with Angelina Jolie. Eventually, Pitt entered into a relationship with her Jolie that lasted for more than a decade.

Now, the exes are reunited, and the internet is in a tizzy wondering what this simple moment of affection might mean. Could it be the start of a new relationship, or is it just two old friends celebrating together?

During his SAG speech, Pitt made sure to keep it light, throwing in a number of jokes about himself. "I gotta add this to my Tinder profile. Thank you, my brothers, my sisters, this means so much, more than I could possibly fathom," he said during his speech. Pitt later added "let's be honest, it was a difficult part: A guy who gets high, takes his shirt off and doesn't get on with his wife. It was a big stretch."
