Vanderpump Rules’ Lala Kent has been on the top list of most controversial actors on the series. However, she seems to have made a turnaround after sobering up and meeting her boyfriend, Randall Emmett. Her turnaround saw her straighten relationships with the reality series cast that had all along been against her.
The star is alleged to be focusing on her career, and recently left her fans surprised at the SAG Awards when she sat close to Meryl Streep which was unexpected.
Her fans got to react immediately with The Real Housewives Polls being among the first to tweet the story, with a fan leaving a comment “Seat Filler.” A viewer who appeared to be a close follower of the actress went ahead to advise Kathryn Dennis, claiming that she should learn to dig for gold effectively.
In 2019, the actress had been in controversy after 50 Cent accused her of drug abuse and addiction. However, she handled the allegations head-on and went ahead to talk about her sobering process, and how she handled cyberbullies.
She celebrated her one year of sobriety on October 22 and termed it as the greatest achievement she has had and prides in. She revealed her pride in openness and honesty when it comes to life issues with the hope of being an inspiration to others.
According to Kent, people need a sound support system, which is crucial for succeeding in the sobriety course. However, she noted that the majority are not lucky enough as she was to have supportive people around.

Speaking of her dad’s death, PEOPLE reports that the actress did not get to process the sad news until she sobered up. Her world felt shattered entirely, and the bottle became her companion. She confessed about going to bed and waking up with a bottle of champagne. The bottle served her ‘medicine’.
In her words, she has the experience of receiving a call from a brother with news of a dead dad. She adds about false accusations and people calling her names, and describes the experiences as ‘Earth-Shattering.’
The actress talks about receiving questions on how she manages to remain head-up despite the cyberbullying. From her response, knowing real life away from the social media illusion seems to be the secret. She has since been on the ground to encourage people dealing with cyberbullying and substance addiction. She talks of having a mindset she is proud of but admits to getting emotional at the thought of others taking their lives every day for cyberbullying. She encourages victims to remain strong and consider reaching out for help. She alleges to see, stand by, and being on their team.
