So, who would you consider one of the most hated contestants from The Bachelor franchise? Most people think about the most recent villains; that crazy guy Chad who wouldn't shock us if he ended up on America's Most Wanted, Luke Parker who slut-shamed Hannah and left the show, getting a middle finger from her in the process, or even Arie Luyendyk Jr. who dumped Becca Kufrin on camera so he could go back to his runner-up, Lauren Burnham.

But, Jed Wyatt is someone who definitely comes to mind, and we still haven't forgotten what he did to Hannah.

Jed Only Went On 'The Bachelorette' To Further His Music Career

After Hannah and Jed got engaged on the finale of her season of The Bachelorette, it came out after filming that the singer/songwriter from Nashville had only gone on the show to raise his profile and further his career, while he had a girlfriend waiting for him back home.

One of the things that make Bachelor Nation hate a contestant the most is if they're not there "for the right reasons." Jed clearly wasn't, and watching him sing on various episodes of the show is just incredibly cringe-inducing now that we know the truth.

He Recently Dropped A New Single

While Hannah has stirred up some drama on the first two episodes of Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor, Jed has been quite busy himself.

He recently dropped a new single called "Risk," and spoke about the song to Us Weekly. He said, “It’s a pop-country song. It’s the first song I’ve ever released that’s more in that market.”

Apparently, he dropped the song independently but is hoping to score a record deal in the future. After knowing what we do now, it makes you throw up in your mouth a little bit.

While he is absolutely within his rights to try to further his singing career, it just looks awkward after his appearance and subsequent drama on The Bachelorette.

The Nashville native told Us Weekly about the song, saying, “I just had this idea come to me that was like, you know, there’s times in life where you want to take a chance on someone and your friends try to talk you out of it or tell you that it might not be the best idea, but you kind of want to listen to your heart and go for it anyway ‘cause you’re super attracted to them or into them in general."

'The Bachelor' Has A New Musical Spinoff

In somewhat surprising news, it recently came out that The Bachelor franchise is going to have a music spinoff, called The Bachelor: Listen To Your Heart.

Host Chris Harrison thinks Jed might be able to find redemption on the show; in other words, producers are looking to stir things up with a villain from the show.

Harrison told Us Weekly, "I think he needs a chance to maybe redeem himself, musically and emotionally. I think he bombed on both. It was a tragic ending to his story on so many levels."

Tragic, or completely self-inflicted and really not that sad? I guess we all see it differently. I wonder how his single and the rest of his music career will do?
