Eminem is facing intense criticism following his latest release – the 47-year-old rapper's new Music To Be Murdered album dropped last night. The 20-track album has been causing a stir on social media – specifically, on account of its "Unaccommodating" track.

Lyrics referencing the 2017 Manchester bombing at singer Ariana Grande's concert have been deemed offensive by many – Eminem himself was called "disgusting."

"I'm contemplating yelling 'bombs away' on the game / Like I'm outside of an Ariana Grande concert waiting," the lyric reads.

Social media has been reacting to the lyrics, in particular, to the Ariana Grande reference. The Manchester Arena bombing saw 22 people killed.

One of the victims' parents took to Twitter with their views – Figen Murray's 29-year-old son died in the bombing.

"Feels like he is piggybacking on the fame of Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber and says distasteful things about other celebrities," Figen tweeted.

"Not clever. Totally pointless. And before all Eminem fans pounce on me, I am not interested and will not engage," she added.

While those directly affected by the bombing are receiving the biggest spotlight amid social media's reactions, fans themselves have also proven to have mixed views.

"You're so disgusting I hope u know that. What u said was very uncalled for and so hurtful to so many people," one fan wrote.

"I love Eminem but this guy really has a bar in his new song mocking the Ariana Grande concert bombing and then has a explosion noise straight after..," another added.

"Tf is wrong with Eminem?" was another response.

Not The First Ariana Bombing Reference: 2018 Delivered This

Eminem has referred to the "thank u, next" singer in the past – again, making a reference to the Manchester bombing. The "Rap God" star's 2018 freestyle saw him reference a brainwashed suicide bomber.

"Seeing Ariana Grande sing her last song of the evening / And as the audience from the damn concert is leaving / Detonates the device strapped to his abdominal region."

It's worth noting that Eminem personally pledged his support following the 2017 atrocities. The rapper urged fans to donate money to affected families – his tweet stated: "Join me in helping Manchester victims and their families."

The King Of Controversial Lyrics: Donald Trump, Khloe Kardashian, Homophobia, And The Rest

The king of quick witticisms he may be, but Eminem also finds himself topping the list of controversial rap lyrics. From his early and multiple homophobic references to the Donald Trump disses on Revival and Kamikaze, Eminem has managed to single-handedly offend half the planet with his rhymes. Then again, for some fans, the humor is spot on.

Eminem has called Khloe Kardashian "the ugly Kardashian." His "1999 "Just Don't Give A F*ck" track also mentioned rape in the first person.

Eminem dropped the album last night on Twitter, also offering a music video. Ariana Grande does not appear to have responded to the track.
