Ariana Grande Claps Back at Trolls

Leave it to the Twitter trolls to ruin someone's day.

A few certain users didn't have nice things to say about Ariana Grande's recent style choices.

We're not even going to tag them because they aren't worthy of a tag. We will, however, provide exact quotes of their terrible dramatics. This way there are receipts in case the tweets are deleted later.

"Like she’s been wearing the same boots/ long shirt Combo for years..... we need the insta baddie"

... This was the first comment and we're not even sure what it means.

"I really don’t want her to look like every other I Can’t Believe It’s Not Kylie," another user said in response to the previous tweet. The original poster responded saying "she could easily stand out without wearing the same 2 outfits luv."

What's funny is that these two probably penned their tweets while sitting at home in their sweats. (I mean, we're doing the same right now, but at least we're not tearing anyone down in the process.)

We're also glad Grande didn't want long to respond to the haters.

"thank god i’m a singer then 😭 gimmeee a break," she tweeted on Wednesday afternoon. "i don’t like having my photo taken, i escape the paparazzi almost every time."

She concluded the tweet saying that she never posts photos that aren't of her performing on stage, and reassured everyone that she does, in fact, own cute clothes. (We were personally never worried about this, but go off girl.)

Grande later clarified her statement of "never" posting non-stage pics by changing the wording to "seldom."

She then raised the point that she's "never even seen like ever" in paparazzi pics. Which, if you think about it, it's kind of true. We can't remember the last time we saw Ari grabbing latte or salad or whatever the current El Lay delicacies are.

The 26-year-old singer also took to Twitter last November to commemorate the first anniversary of her hit song "thank u, next."

"I can't believe I've spent more time alone this year than I have in my life," she said.

"I can't believe how many sessions w my therapist I've had, how many times I've sung this song, how much I've learned and healed, how much I still have to learn and heal!" This also led Grande to a time of reflection and/or introspection the previous year.

The bottom line is this: be nice. It's easy to think that these celebs will never see our comments due to the sea of other comments coming in - and if they do see it, they won't care. The truth is that these are people, too - so don't say anything online that you wouldn't say to their face.

Ariana will be performing live at the GRAMMY Awards on Sunday, January 26th.
