Kanye West has officially changed his full name to simply "Ye." This after a Los Angeles judge signed off on the rapper changing his legal name.

As you know, this is the nickname that he's been going with, with his first name, for over a decade. With this name change idea by Kanye, he would have no middle or last name, just simply "Ye." In legal documents obtained by The Blast, it is stated that Kanye's petition for the name change was granted. This is a "tentative ruling," where the rapper was not required to be present in court, for this request to be approved. Kanye initially filed documents for this name change, in Los Angeles, back in August. In the state of California, this request is fairly simple to get granted, unless it is only being done, in order to commit fraud, or other crimes. Kanye's original full name was Kanye Omari West. Fans will now have to get used to just "Ye" appearing on projects such as his studio albums, and even collaborations, such as the 10-year deal that he currently has in place, with GAP.

There had been speculation over the last few months that she and Ye may be calling off their divorce, though. This is due to Kardashian supporting Ye at events, such as his "Donda" album listening events, and also having dinner with him, at Nobu, in Malibu. Last week though, the reconciliation rumors appeared to be put to rest, as it was announced that Kardashian would be receiving their Hidden Hills home. The two initially purchased this home, in 2014, for $20 million, and is now worth $60 million. In order for Kardashian to have been able to receive this home in the divorce, she had to pay Ye a buyout price, of $20 million. This also comes after Ye listed his Wyoming ranch, for $11 million, and also purchased a rare home in Malibu, for $57.3 million.
