Meghan Markle didn't really need money, even before she joined the royal family. Markle was a successful actress in America, and had been starring in the long-running USA show "Suits." After she married Prince Harry, she attained access to the royal pocketbook, but it's not like she's incapable of earning money for herself.

Now that she and Harry have announced that they'll be stepping back from many of their duties as royals and will try to become financially independent, there's plenty of speculation as to how Markle will earn money.

More recently, it was reported that Markle had signed a voiceover deal with Disney in exchange for a donation to a wildlife charity that benefits elephants in Botswana. While this doesn't necessarily mean that Markle will return to acting, there has been speculation that she and Harry will follow in the Obamas' footsteps and begin to produce films and television.

Whatever they do next, there are certainly plenty of people eager to work with two of the most popular royals on the planet.

In an interview with Fox News, Julie Montagu, a member of the British nobility, said she sees a return to acting in Markle's future. "100 percent. I'm sure that's being negotiated now," Montagu said. "And if she's just done a voice-over for a Disney film, nothing's going to stop her [from] eventually either going back into acting or taking a role of producing or directing these documentaries and mini-series."

While Montagu predicts a return to acting, she says it may not happen immediately.

"I assume we will see her back acting, but definitely not right away," Montagu said. "I think she's got other things on her list that they want to highlight first."

Although Hollywood seems like a natural fit for both Harry and Meghan, it's a move that would be tough to swallow for some members of the royal family, according to sources. Markle may come from the world of actors, but amongst the royals, it's not considered to be a particularly noble calling.

"The royal family would undoubtedly find this to be uncouth," Shannon Felton Spence, the former head of Politics and Communications for the British Consulate-General of Boston told Fox. "However, if the Duke and Duchess give up their royal life (this would include a clean break, including titles), they would be free to do as they please. As long as they retain royal titles, [her majesty] the Queen will have some oversight into how they are used."

If Markle wants to return to acting, a clean break may be necessary.
