Moff Gideon and the rest of the Imperial forces looking to get their evil hands on The Child will no longer have to battle the stars of "The Mandalorian" -- they'll just have to head to the Build-A-Bear Workshop. On Tuesday the company announced they would be stocking up buildable models of the "Star Wars" fan-favorite after seeing a successful holiday season and a growing trend in demand for Disney merchandise in their stores.

Build-A-Bear CEO Sharon Price John shared the news while discussing the role Baby Yoda will play in their stores.

"We are pleased to have seen a positive shift in sales trend as the fourth quarter progressed leading into the peak holiday period and sales have continued to grow post-holiday with stronger gift card redemption levels and positive consumer response to our newest merchandise offerings leading us to increase our guidance for the year,” John during a presentation in Florida.

She then dropped the news about the adorable little green guy and took a shot at the current political climate.

"I'm excited to share we will be one of the first companies to provide the digital and internet phenomenon who is trending higher than all the presidential candidates combined ... We now will have The Child, also known as Baby Yoda."

John even reportedly showed off a prototype of Baby Yoda to executives during the ICR Conference. It's unclear if there will be any accessories offered with the toy, such as clothing options or a floating carriage.

The move by Build-A-Bear was obviously a smart one, as everyone is clamoring to get a piece of the mysterious character ever since he was introduced on the Disney+ series. After the announcement of Baby Yoda to the upcoming line, shares of Build-A-Bear jumped over 15%.
