Congratulations are in order for "DWTS" contender Jimmie Allen and his beautiful wife Alexis Gale, as the couple recently welcomed their second bundle of joy.
On Saturday, October 16, the "Make Me Want To" singer surprised fans by announcing the postponement of his North Carolina performance due to a "family emergency" on his Instagram Story.
Moments later, the 36-year-old cryptically revealed the arrival of his baby daughter, Zara James Allen, by uploading a single baby emoji.
The happy news was also confirmed by ET, as the news outlet reported that both mother and child are currently in good health.
The latest member of the Allen family is the couple's second daughter; however, the little girl is the country singer's third child as he has a son, Aadyn, from a different relationship.
The "This Is Us" crooner and his wife publicly revealed they were expecting Zara in June with a series of stunning Instagram pictures of Gale rocking her baby bump.
One of the images captured a heartwarming scene in which the proud mother posed with her stepson while her firstborn daughter, Naomi, held a pregnancy test.
Later that month, Allen confessed the couple was expecting their second daughter on "The Sam Alex Show."
The father-of-three also admitted that the pair couldn't see eye to eye when it came to choosing their daughter's name. In his words,
"I want to name her Arya Stark Allen because I'm a huge Game of Thrones fan, but Lex ain't lettin' that happen!"
Although the pair were stumped in June, everything changed in September. The singer's wife announced on Instagram that the lovebirds had decided to name their unborn child Zara.
The newest bundle of joy in Allen's life has no clue how amazing her father is. The rising country star contesting on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" has dominated his genre as a talented artist and songwriter.
The 36-year-old's unique talents have earned him the respect of his peers. The multi-platinum recording artist carved his name in history by becoming the first Black singer to make a debut album with two consecutive No. 1 hits.
The father-of-three was also nominated for 2020's CMA New Artist of the Year award. Although he didn't win this category, the star made a comeback this year to win ACM's New Male Artist of the Year award.
Allen's undeniable talents have been widely recognized as the singer has performed on various stages such as "The Kennedy Center Honors," "Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve," "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," "American Idol," and more.
The "Best Shot" coroner's talents don't stop at writing sensational music. Earlier in July, the artist released his first picture book, "My Voice Is a Trumpet." He is also the executive music producer for Netflix's latest series, "Titletown High."
