Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres tweeted out, "It’s almost impossible to understand the size and destruction of the fires in Australia. Here are three organizations I’ve already donated to. I hope you’ll donate, too,” She then linked to the Twitter accounts of The NSW Rural Fire Service, The Australian Red Cross, and WIRES.

She then took to her Instagram to post facts about the crisis including that "Experts warn a century or more [is] needed to absorb the CO2 released."

Selena Gomez wrote on Twitter that she was devastated to hear about the fires. She continued in the post, "Praying for everyone affected and all of the first responders. I’m making a donation and would love if you would consider doing the same if you can." She then attached a link to an article that explained how fans could help.

Singer Charli XCX linked to a similar article about places to donate by CNET in her tweet about the fires.

Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner both have used their fame and many followers on social media to talk about the fires. However, the two did get criticism for their extravagant lifestyle that can negatively affect the environment. Kylie Jenner was seen wearing mink slippers directly after talking about the Austalian crisis and Kim Kardashian is fighting with her fans over the issue.

One twitter user even said, "Ok but didn’t you publicize you and Kanye renting out a Boeing 747 commercial airplane last year? No amount of charitable donation or trees any person or organization could plant cancel out those carbon emissions."

P!nk, in her Twitter post, stated, "I am totally devastated watching what is happening in Australia right now with the horrific bushfires. I am pledging a donation of $500,000 directly to the local fire services that are battling so hard on the frontlines. My heart goes out to our friends and family in Oz."

Nichole Kidman and Keith Urban, who was raised in Australia, also donated $500,000 to the cause. Both shared a bunch of links to different websites for more information and where to donate.

Many other celebrities shared their thoughts on Twitter and Instagram including TV stars The Irwins, Marvel's Shang-Chi star that is currently filming in Australia Simu Liu, and pop singer Lizzo.

As the fires continue to ravage the Australian landscape, celebrities are coming together to make sure that the crisis is known.

To help the cause, you can donate to the NSW Rural Fire Sevice, ACT Rural Fire Service, and many of the other celebrity promoted groups in this article.
