The proud father-of-two shared pictures of his children’s birth certificates on Instagram. The images included stamps of their adorable “baby dragons” tiny footprints.
The pictures also revealed that Alexander arrived one minute earlier than his twin sister. The couple’s loyal supporters weren’t forgotten in this heartwarming moment as Bass captioned the post with the words:
“I can not express how much love I feel right now. Thank you for all the kind wishes. It meant a lot. Now, how do you change a diaper??! Ahhhhhhhh!”
The Hurdles Faced
From the start, Bass and Turchin have always wanted to be the fathers of two children, as reported by PEOPLE. However, being in a same-sex relationship meant they would require surrogacy to make their dream a reality.

The journey to the birth of Violet and Alexander was far from easy as the couple faced many hurdles, including a miscarriage.
The 42-year-old singer revealed that it took years of failed surrogacy attempts and IVF treatments before their prayers were answered.
The twins were initially due in November, but Bass confessed that he wished they would arrive sooner. The Halloween-obsessed artist wanted his children to be “Halloween babies” so they could love the spooky day as much as he did.
In August, The Blast reported that the “Out Of Sync ” author disclosed which of his former NSYNC bandmates were on his list of potential babysitters.
Chris Kirkpatrick was not on the list; however, Bass changed his mind. According to the “On The Line” actor, the band’s founding member would make a good babysitter.
Being Celebrity Parents
Bass and Turchin have kept as many details as possible about their baby’s journey away from the public. The couple, who tied the knot in 2014, began their surrogacy attempts in 2018.
Although this process resulted in the adorable babies Violet and Alexander, the children were not the lovebirds’ first set of twins.
As previously reported, one of the pair’s surrogacy attempts resulted in a miscarriage. According to Bass, the surrogate had been pregnant with twins. This devastating news occurred in 2020, but the couple didn’t reveal it until 2021.
