Mariah Carey‘s whistle register may be her trademark, but the superstar singer has more than her power voice when it comes to assets. The “All I Want For Christmas…” singer definitely seemed in the mood to show off her curves in her latest Instagram update – even if it meant clothing that was somewhat struggling to contain her.
Mariah took to her Instagram over the weekend, posting both a solo snap and a family one – Mariah is a mother to twins, Moroccan and Monroe.
Mariah’s opening snap showed her looking happy, healthy, and carefree as she struck a pose on a brick balcony with glass panels. The 49-year-old was looking pretty youthful, with a sporty and somewhat-aquatic wardrobe that suggested she might be ready for the water.
Mariah’s curves had been squeezed into a black jumpsuit with long sleeves and yellow piping – an unzipped finish did, however, remind the singer’s followers that cleavage is her territory. The ex to Nick Cannon also wore sandal footwear. Much like the outfit, the message was simple.
“Happy Sunday ??,” Mariah wrote.
A quick swipe to the right showed Mariah in motherhood mode. The singer was on a leather couch and relaxing with her 2011-born twins. Also seen were two adorable dogs.
Mariah’s fans were definitely there for her in the comments section – as was actress Millie Bobby Brown. The “Stranger Things” star sent Mariah three heart emojis.
Fans were sold.
“Girl can you adopt me tf,” one wrote.
“Happy sunday,” another said.
Some spicier comments were also left: “MAMASITA ???❤️,” a user wrote.
2020 didn’t get off to the best start for Mariah as her Twitter was hacked with offensive and racist tweets appearing on her account. Also touched on by the hackers was the old feud between ex and baby daddy Nick Cannon and “Rap God” star Eminem.
Hacking did seem to sweep celebrity media after Mariah’s account fell victim, with January 3 seeing actor Adam Sandler’s Twitter hacked – the content posted to his account included anti-Semitic words.
Mariah replied to her hacking amusingly.
“I take a freaking nap and this happens?” she wrote.
2019 saw Mariah front Cosmopolitan, with the star’s glittering career covered. That said, Mariah, whose worth is estimated at $300- $500 million (depending on the source) did recall the poverty that she grew up in as she spoke to the magazine.
“People didn’t understand who I was, what I was, my ethnicity, the fact that we didn’t have money,” she said.
Mariah is, as Cosmopolitan states, “a mix of African-American, Venezuelan, and Irish.”
Mariah’s weekend update likely put a smile on the faces of her male fans – at least, for the opening snap.
