Adele Fans Are Ecstatic After The Release Of 'Easy On Me'

Last week, Adele had social media in a frenzy after announcing that she would be releasing her first single since 2015. This record is titled "Easy On Me," as anticipation had been sky-high, since that announcement. When October 14 came, fans wondered how soon Adele would release this record, as she went on to reveal that she would put it out, at midnight, in United Kingdom time.

Midnight finally struck in the UK, and Adele kept her promise, of finally releasing Easy On Me, on all streaming outlets. From many fans' first listen, they've instantly been feeling that this record is another massive hit for Adele, and is on its way to being one of the biggest, in the world. Adele also released the music video for Easy On Me, as that featured black and white visuals. The wait definitely appears to have been worth it as Easy On Me sounds like the amazing Adele that fans experienced, from 2008-2015. During that span, her first three studio albums were released.

In addition to Adele's "Easy On Me" single finally being released, her fourth studio album is also on the way. This is "30," which will be her first album since 2015, as well. On Wednesday, Adele made the initial announcement regarding 30, and also wrote an open letter to her fans, detailing the process of creating this album, and he emotional state she's been in, since 2018.

"I was certainly nowhere near where I'd hoped to be when I first started [this album] nearly 3 years ago. Quite the opposite actually. I rely on routine and consistency to feel safe, I always have," wrote Adele. "And yet there I was knowingly - willingly even, throwing myself into a maze of absolute mess and inner turmoil!

I've learned a lot of blistering home truths about myself along the way. I've shed many layers but also wrapped myself in new ones. Discovered genuinely useful and wholesome mentalities to lead with, and I feel like I've finally found my feeling again. I'd go as far as to say that I've never felt more peaceful in my life. 

And so, I'm ready to finally put this album out."

Through the first three albums of Adele's career, all of them debuted at number one, on the Billboard 200 chart. Many believe that 30 will continue this trend, and do so, easily. With Adele's release of "25," in 2015, that project featured hits such as "Hello" and "When We Were Young." It is also certified 11x platinum, in the US.
