Kate Hudson is feeling the holiday weight – no, you aren’t alone. The actress made headlines today for getting very candid indeed as she took to Instagram to share what the scale showed.
Kate posted an Instagram story sharing her weight to a very precise figure – yes, to the fraction of a pound. The blonde kicked off 2020 by stepping on the scale then standing in gray pajamas with a coffee mug as she shared the one thing that women never want anybody knowing.
Kate revealed that she weighs 135.9 pounds.
“It’s January 2, 2020. I got on the scale. I wasn’t impressed,” the 40-year-old began.
“But that’s OK because I know how to do this, know what I mean? I was thinking that I know how much everybody likes following people’s routines so I thought that I would … simply show you what I do just to stay on track,” she continued.
Kate is now a mother of three, having welcomed daughter Rani Rose in October 2019. Kate pretty much pinged back into shape, although the holidays may have put a spanner in the works.
Kate then shared some of her lifestyle choices, including a “little celery juice” and “black coffee.” Lunch, she stated, might be sweet potato with “shrimp with sherry vinegar and garlic.”
Kate then actually shared a photo of herself on the scale.
“So post holiday I’m basically 136. I always round up! Ideal weight for me [is] 125. 10 to go. I’m gonna say 3-5 pounds is mostly water and I’m a muscle frame so I weigh more even though I’m lean. Important for people to understand that! Weight in muscle is a happy number!” she wrote.
Kate’s weight loss over the years has gotten her noticed. Not only does the actress front Weight Watchers, she is also the face of popular fitness clothing brand Fabletics.
Seven months after giving birth to her third baby, Kate took to social media with an ab-flaunting snap as she rocked a crop top.
“I’ve taken my time, I’ve stayed true to my [Weight Watchers] app, which I am so grateful for our relationship and that they included me in their family, because it’s an incredible set up. Easy as pie! And I can eat pie… except it’s anywhere from 9-22 points which is not the best move… I personally go for the 5 point wine or vodka martini for a treat, I digress.” she wrote.
Celebs pinging back into shape seems to have become the norm. With the budgets to fund door-delivered and top-quality personal trainers (not to mention the personal chefs), it’s of little surprise why these new mothers wind up looking pre-baby within weeks.
Amber Rose may have openly gone for full body liposuction after welcoming her baby recently, but the other celebs tend to go down the diet and exercise route.
