Part one of the four-part Real Housewives of Beverly Hills aired this week and it’s not looking good for Erika Jayne. Ahead of the premiere, the teaser showed host Andy Cohen warning Erika that he plans on asking her some tough questions and it will be pretty hard for her to slip out of this time around.
While he has only tapped the surface of those questions, Cohen got Erika to admit to a few things that she may never have admitted to before, one of those being she needs Bravo and their money.

Main Source Of Income
The singer admitted to Cohen that the show is her main source of income and essentially without that paycheck she isn’t sure what she would be able to afford. She shared with Cohen and the women that she is “literally trying to survive”.
Relying on her estranged soon-to-be ex-husband Tom Girardi is not an option. She also naively didn’t consider the paycheck a big deal until over the winter when the money came in at the perfect time, possibly saving her ass from something (we will never know).
“Yeah, unfortunately, it is,” she said of having to rely on the reality show paycheck. Erika looked embarrassed while admitting it as if making a large sum of money for living your life isn’t a flex… In the past, sleuth-y fans have landed on Erika’s paycheck being close to $600,000 per season. The New York Times subsequently backed that up.
Just a reminder that Real Housewives of New York City Alum Bethenny Frankel shared this tidbit of information weeks ago on her podcast.
What About Tom
As mentioned, Erika claims she cannot rely on Girardi which is something fans can’t use against her. The once sought-after lawyer is now disgraced and battling his own health and money issues.
On numerous occasions on the RHOBH, the Pretty Mess author shared that she is not in direct contact with her husband and has shared some wild stories about Girardi that had her own friends had to question what the truth is and what it is not.
Girardi’s lawyers are claiming that the former lawyer is experiencing several medical issues that led him to not be responsible for the accusations against him that include embezzling money from victims. The 82-year-old has been spotted a couple of times since the news broke and let’s be honest, he isn’t looking good.
Tough Reunion
Since news broke of the scandal in November 2020, Erika has been also claiming to be a victim in a sense because she alleges to not have known anything about the situation. However, fans are disgusted that for the last six seasons, she has bragged about her lifestyle.
Girardi was supposedly funding her music career which included a glam squad that doesn’t come cheap. She also owned several million-dollar homes through Giradi which she now claims she never knew about or ever visited. The small details coming out week by week about Erika have rubbed the audience the wrong way. Some have even called for her to be fired.
At the reunion, she will have the opportunity to defend herself. In a preview of the remaining three parts, Erika says:
“There’s a lot of talk about me being cold and a lot of talk about me not having empathy and sympathy. The truth is I do, but I’m in an almost impossible situation. And anyone who has been wronged, I want them to be made whole. I’m talking about the alleged victims of all of Tom’s alleged misdoings. And it’s important that people hear that from me.”
