The 27-year-old actress was seen in several outfits, including fishnet stockings and a crop top with puffy sleeves. She also sported a black beanie in some pics, while she wore a hair garland in the other images.
"surprise I'm blonde now… ty @wonderland @mrmikerosenthal," she captioned the post.
Fans React
Petsch's followers went crazy about her new hair, and the post racked up more than 2.3 million likes in less than a day of going live on her page. It also received over 11,700 messages from her avid fans, who raced to the comments section to share their thoughts on her new look.
"Full blonde ambition don't get to comfortable with it," celebrity hairstylist Marc Mena wrote.
"Love the blonde but will always love a red head!!" wrote another follower.
"Omg I'm living for this," added a third commenter.
"You as a blonde? Vicious," noted a fourth one.
Vegan & Proud
For the feature, Petsch talked about her YouTube channel, being vegan, and "Riverdale".
The actress leads a vegan lifestyle and has been very open about it on her social media channels. She's often seen cooking up some delicious vegan meals on her YouTube channel, but while she shows off her recipes, it doesn't necessarily mean she urges viewers to eat the same food.
"I'm not telling anyone to go vegan, that's a crazy ask," Petsch told Wonderland Magazine. "But I am saying, 'Think before you order that beef patty' or whatever because we have a great alternative for you. It's more about arming people with information and doing it in a fun way."
What To Expect With Her Character

Petsch also revealed in the interview that her "Riverdale" character, Cheryl Blossom, will have more drama before the show's end.
"She goes through a huge shift," Petsch said. "For some people, I think it's going to be totally on the nose and they'll have expected it this entire time. And for some people, it'll be out of left field. There's a lot of stuff to play with and it definitely is carried over into season six."
The Netflix show has continued production throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. That said, the cast and crew were trapped in the show's filming location -- Vancouver -- last season when the borders were closed.
When asked about her life on set despite not being able to fly home whenever she can, Petsch said she's "very thankful to be working throughout the whole pandemic," Petsch shared. "And I know that I'm protecting other people [because] I got vaccinated. I'm so thankful that we have that opportunity now."
She Loves Making Content For Fans
As for her YouTube page, the actress shared that it's a place where fans could see the real her.
"You’re getting to know me; a version of me that I get to control the narrative of," Petsch said. "I think there's something really empowering about that."
She continued, "I was always scared that I wouldn't be taken that seriously. 'Which is stupid, and I know that. But you know, I've been on a drama CW show. I remember I was meeting for a comedy and they were like, 'Oh, I watch your YouTube channel, you're actually super funny.' And I was like, 'Oh wow, this is creating a different avenue for me.'"

Petsch also shared why she kept her channel for years.
"It's really beautiful when I get messages from fans, which I can't believe I get these, but where they're like, 'Your YouTube channel helped me stay alive for a year.' Like that is insane to me. Things like that just really drive it home as to why I do it."
