Jessica Simpson may have made her Sunday Instagram post about her ski trip, but the singer and actress' fans only had eyes for her super-slender waistline.

The mother of three made major headlines earlier this year for shedding a staggering 100 pounds following the birth of her third child – daughter Birdie was born in March 2019.

Jessica's snap today was a black-and-white one. Thirty-nine-year-old Jessica posed with her hands on her slimmed-down waist, wearing full ski gear and boots. Her face was largely hidden by metallic shades and a fur-trimmed hood, but fans did get a smile.

Jessica had captioned her image with a suggestion that not all that much skiing was engaged in – despite the star being kitted out in the winter sports gear.

"Skiing with the kiddos today. This is far as I got...," she wrote.

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Kyle Richards replied with "#relatable" – one of the few responses not directly telling Jessica how sensational she looked.

Fan comments poured in from the moment Jessica's post went live. The post also quickly racked up likes: over 125,000 were clocked in the space of 18 hours.

It's all eyes on this mother of three's body in the comments section.

"That teeny tiny waist tho!!" one fan wrote.

"You looking amazing!!!" another user wrote with a heart emoji.

"Looking fit and trim momma!! Have a blast!!" a fan told the star.

Jessica also appeared to have attracted the attention of other new mothers, with one fan calling the blonde her "postpartum inspiration."

A comment also came in from the man partially responsible for Jessica's weight loss. Her trainer, Harley Pasternak simply replied with: "Yesssss."

Jessica lost her 100 pounds in just six months. Speaking to Hollywood Life, the star's trainer dished on her diet.

“She would eat one whole egg and three egg whites for breakfast, scrambled with a bowl of blackberries. For lunch she would have a salad with grilled chicken and grilled fish with salad and vegetables for dinner. As for snacks, she would have almonds and sometimes green beans with Parmesan cheese on top. She was very disciplined,” Harley Pasternak said.

Jessica admitted that the baby weight gain saw her tip the scales at 240 pounds.

The first step towards getting Jessica back into shape came with exercise: Pasternak revealed that he was getting Jessica to walk 12,000 steps a day.

"This was a big part of losing the 100 pounds. She could do it by going for walks with her family, walking on the treadmill watching TV, just moving her body in a non-intense way," Harley said.

Hard work and determation seem to have paid off for Jessica. And we aren't seeing much in the way of holiday weight gain. Meanwhile, pregnant model Ashley Graham is all about celebrating weight gain during pregnancy – she's gained 50 pounds and she's A-OK with it.
