Tequila and Red Wine Healthy? It Might be for Victoria Beckham

The former Spice Girl, Victoria Beckham, recently went on to answer the most commonly Googled questions about her and posted the responses on YouTube in the middle of December.

During this session, she answered queries ranging from her diet and what she liked to eat to her daily routine and exercise. Some of the answers to her questions were no surprise, especially when it came to her diet and exercise routines.

Not only is Beckham very fit, but she also maintains a perfect look that epitomizes the luxury brand that she designs and owns. But what exactly was said during the Q&A?

One of the first questions Beckham addressed was concerning her diet and eating habits.

"What is Victoria Beckham’s diet?" the 45-year-old asked herself. Usually, she's a health-conscious eater and only rarely goes for a treat or two. Beckham considers her diet rather healthy and shared that she eats "lots of fresh fish, fresh vegetables, fruit, [and] lots of water to keep hydrated."

While she mentioned that she likes to stay very hydrated, she also has another drink or two which she has a good amount of. The former pop star also admitted to drinking "lots of tequila and lots of red wine".

Watching Television on the Treadmill

Beckham maintains, though, that she really is a health freak. One of the other questions that she answered focused on her daily routines.

To start things off in the morning, she gets on the treadmill and watches some television. For her, this is really one of the only times that she watches any. Her exercise on the treadmill begins with a "mix of uphill fast walking, jogging, running," she said.

"That’s the only time I watch TV – boxsets, documentaries – so I look forward to that." While most people would call it a day after that brisk morning workout, not Beckham.

Cardio Is Just the Beginning

For Beckham's morning exercise routine, cardio is only the beginning. After shes completes her treadmill run, it's off to strength training, and it's not for the faint of heart.

"30-minutes legs, 30-minutes arms, toning and conditioning, then loads of planks and that kind of thing for my core," the designer revealed.

After her intense morning workout is done, she goes on about her day, whether that is working in the office on her brand, taking the kids to school, or traveling with her husband, David Beckham.

Victoria Beckham Might Be on to Something

So while Beckham didn't flat out say that she thinks drinking lots of tequila and red wine is healthy, you'd have to think that she might be on to something. She eats healthier than most, sticking to lean proteins and other good sources of nutrition and has a workout regimen that is undeniably intense every morning.

Maybe the red wine and tequila help her with her overall health, or maybe it doesn't. Perhaps, it's just the 'cheat meal' that she needs after a long and productive day. Either way, she knows how to remain to look young and beautiful as ever.
