Khloe Kardashian is no stranger to strong social media backlash and negativity.
The entire family has faced criticism for years over using photoshop, black fishing, and heavily editing their photos.
Now, Khloe is getting real about the ‘gift and curse’ that is social media.
As many fans know or may have seen in the media, Khloe has been accused on numerous occasions of photoshopping pics and unfortunately failing.

Earlier this year, a completely unedited picture of Khloe made its rounds on the internet. Khloe is barefaced wearing a leopard print bikini while hanging out poolside as many fans who’ve seen the photo pointed out that there appears to be a complete lack of heavy editing and photoshop.

It’s actually really nice to see what an unedited, unposed kardashian body looks like

This sparked a massive discussion online of how much photoshop is too much and not enough.
There were conflicting reports on who uploaded the unapproved photo to Instagram and KKW’s Chief Marketing Officer, Tracy Romulus, released the following statement about the photo.
“The color edited photo was taken of Khloé during a private family gathering and posted to social media without permission by mistake by an assistant,” Romulus wrote.
Despite the public statement, the chatter didn’t die down and it got so bad that Khloe eventually published multiple videos and photos of herself “unedited” to social media.
She posted a video of herself in a bathroom wearing nothing but underpants and went on to show off her body, while even doing a few jumps to show… NO JIGGLE.
Her caption on the post said, “PS: Yes I did a live
to show you all this isn’t photoshopped.”
In a new interview with Health Magazine, the reality TV star said, “I’m forever trying to drown out the noise that doesn’t matter—especially in the world of Instagram.”
She’s also previously mentioned how social media makes her feel anxious.
“It’s such a gift, and it’s a curse. There’s been so many days that I’m like, I feel so badass and good. And then my demeanor will be shot down because someone posted a story about how they perceive me or how they think I look,” Khloe admitted.
Prior to the family’s fame, and more specifically her own personal fame, social media wasn’t a headache for Khloe. In fact, she didn’t really give a crap about what people would say.
Unfortunately, social media has a tight hold on many people’s mental health.
Khloe explained, “Normally, when you’re older you turn into titanium. Sometimes I let that stuff get to me, and I have to actively drown that noise out.”
