This show is where Hilton and friend Richie coined a few terms, weird dances, and random noises like “sanasa, sanasa”. However, the best and most famous catchphrase to come from the mouth of these socialites was “That’s hot”. Hilton said it to express basically every emotion she had. We would have to guess it was said well over a thousand times on this show and even way more in real life. Hilton knew she had a goldmine on her hands and immediately trademarked the term. Since then she has been making money off the phrase and people who want to utilize it.

So, where did this phrase come from? Hilton has admitted that she not only stole the phrase, but she stole it from none other than her baby sister Nicky Hilton Rothschild. During a recent interview with “Vogue” magazine, Hilton said, “’That’s hot’ is something that my sister, actually always used to say, but I trademarked it and I own it. Sorry, Nicky.” Joked Hilton. Nicky actually saw it printed on a shirt. Hilton went on to explain. The front of the shirt read ‘“That’s hot” and the back would say “You’re not.”’

How harmoniums is it that Hilton’s popular catchphrase and partial reason for her fame is due to fashion? The celebrity DJ is very big on labels and this has been something that also made a huge impact on her career. Hilton would steady rock a Juicy Couture valour tracksuit and ultimately, made the brand accessible to the masses. It seems like some things never change. Hilton still says “That’s Hot” from time to time and if we are lucky, she does it on camera for the fans.

She ever still wears those valor tracksuits. During an interview with “The Guardian”, the DJ talked about her tracksuit collection. “My everyday wear is very comfortable. I love Juicy Couture’s velour tracksuits — I probably own 100 of them in every color. That’s my uniform when I’m chilling at home or going to the beach — anything that doesn’t involve a red carpet.” Hilton has had a long career, longer than anyone thought she would last, she is proving to be a jack of all trades. All this while wearing a valor tracksuit.
