Lily Collins Shares Photos From Her Romantic Scandinavian Honeymoon With Husband Charlie McDowell

Lily Collins is having a wonderful life as a new wife!

The Emily in Paris star, 32, who married film director and writer Charlie McDowell, 38, on September 4, reminisced about their honeymoon in Scandinavia.

After their fireworks-filled, weekend-long wedding celebration, Collins and McDowell enjoyed some alone time at several beautiful countries in Europe, and they documented some of the stunning locations and showed them on social media.

"Our Scandinavian honeymoon may be over but the adventure definitely is not," the actress wrote in the caption.

She continued, "I can’t imagine a more memorable, magical first trip as newlyweds and way to officially begin our lives together. There’s no one I’d rather airplane hop and road trip with. Here’s to the many more epic experiences to come…"

The first snap showed the newlyweds sitting on a wooden bridge over a creek with a beautiful view of the mountains behind them. Meanwhile, the next pic showed a solo shot of Collins, who was clad in a gray puffer jacket and matching beanie, standing on a high area with lovely views of a body of water down below.

A swipe to the right showcased a picture of Love, Rosie star seen through a reflection from the glass windows that featured stunning views of nature. In the candid photo, Collins appeared to be preoccupied with something but was able to show her face to the camera.

The fourth photo featured the lovebirds sharing a sweet kiss outdoors, and the next snap showed McDowell standing on a paddleboard. Collins was seen riding a yellow kayak in the last picture, where she looked over her shoulder and smiled at the camera.

As of this writing, Collin's upload earned over 840,000 likes. More than 800 fans also took the time to write messages to the couple.

"I hope you guys had the best time," visual artist Beau Dunn commented.

"It’s all so beautiful…now get home!!" wrote another friend.

Meanwhile, a third commenter called Collins and McDowell the "Cutest couple of all time."

"This is breathtaking!! and you look so incredibly happy," added a fourth user.

TheOne I Love director also shared some photos of their getaway on his Instagram, and he revealed some of the locations -- Harads, Sweden and Lofoten, Norway -- where Collins noted that "Two planes, a train, and an automobile" took them there.

"We love you, Scandinavia. Thank you for an adventure and honeymoon of a lifetime. See you next time," McDowell captioned his post.

On their wedding day, Collins and McDowell held a private ceremony in Dunton, Colorado. To commemorate the special event, they shared the news on Instagram a few days later, posting photos from the wedding.
