Kylie Jenner‘s gift to 1-year-old daughter Stormi Webster has been raising some eyebrows on Twitter. The 22-year-old reality star and makeup mogul appears to have gifted her baby girl a ring with two diamonds set on it – for fans of the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star, this might not come as the world’s biggest surprise.
Not everyone is a die-hard fan, though.
Kylie’s daughter appeared on her mother’s Instagram stories over Christmas, and the footage most definitely showed the pricey ring.
Fans seem divided. While some weren’t digging that the ring only adds to the unimaginable luxury that Stormi is being raised in, others expressed concern over the ring, Stormi’s age, and the fact that the gift might pose a choking hazard.
“Wait until she swallows it,” one fan tweeted.
“I’m sorry but it is so f*cking ridiculous that Kylie got stormi, a two year old, a DIAMOND RING for Christmas. I know people work for their money, but that money could have gone to putting food in someone’s body, paying for medical bills, or planting trees,” another user wrote.
Amid the fears that the ring might pose a choking hazard (and the overall slamming), fans did come out to support the Kylie Cosmetics CEO.
For some, the world’s youngest billionaire can choose how she spends her own cash.
“everybody needs to leave kylie jenner and stormi alone hoes mad they all broke,” a fan stated.
Of course, it’s Twitter. The platform’s colloquial use of “broke” tends not to always translate to reality, but we’ll assume that this user was, in fact, referring to Kylie Jenner being worth $1 billion.
Stormi is making us jealous. The world’s most famous baby got way more than a diamond ring for Christmas this year.
It started with dad Travis Scott gifting his daughter a life-size “Trolls” experience. Footage of Stormi bouncing around her home with the movie’s Poppy character went viral after Kylie shared it to her Instagram just before Christmas.
Then came the luxury, two-story playhouse gifted by 64-year-old grandma Kris Jenner. Stormi’s playhouse sits in Kylie’s backyard, and it’s making us green-eyed AF.
The ring may have had its moment, but so did a white pony named after “Frozen” movie’s Olaf.
Kylie made sure that the world knew just how much her daughter had been spoiled this holiday season.
“OK but Stormi had the best Christmas of all time,” Kylie captioned the pony pic.
Social media appears to have thoughts on the whole affair – playhouse included.
“#Stormi got a diamond ring and a big house for #Christmas. She’s (almost) 2. Let that sink in,” a user wrote, as the above-mentioned report from The Metro chronicled.
If you aren’t a fan of Stormi’s luxurious lifestyle, you may want to brace yourself for February when Stormi turns 2. Kylie is set to be planning the mother of all parties.
