Jessie J Is Feeling the Christmas Spirit After Channing Tatum Split

By Gary Trock

Jessie J is not letting a breakup ruin her holiday season and seemed very jolly while singing a Christmas classic for fans. The singer took to Instagram on Sunday evening for a little quick rendition of "Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town." Looking all bundled up in a warm looking jacket and beanie, the singer sounded great while delivering the holiday tune. Jessie and Channing Tatum reportedly split about a month ago after an intense year filled with drama, romance and lots of publicity.

She's 'Happy'

Jessie J recently wrapped up her last tour of the year during a performance in Amsterdam. She posted a message reflecting on the last 10 years of her professional career, and how proud she is to be doing what she loves.

"Last show of the decade for me last night. To say I’m grateful to still do what I love is an understatement. When I think about what I have been through, what I have achieved and how you have all rocked with me in the past 10 years. Woof. Tears."

The singer also posted a quick little video showing off her killer outfit, and letting fans know she's "Happy." She didn't mention Channing, but the timing of the post from a few days ago was shortly after news broke that the relationship had ended.

How's Channing Doing?

Since the split, Channing appears to be focusing his energy and time into the relationship with his 6-year-old daughter, Everly Tatum, whom he shares with Jenna Dewan. He recently shared a photo of the two working on boxing and a little MMA.

"We love wrestling and boxing. And we keep it fun. I heard once that martial arts was only created to take the mystery out of fight. So people started to practiced it. So if ever there came a time they had to defend themselves they wouldn’t be as afraid. In my experience fear most times leads to bad decisions. Being calm and secure with your mind and body...Make great opportunity for good decisions. Violence is 100% never the answer. But having a daughter i always want her to feel safe in her being. And god help the person that ever poke the beast inside this little angel."

They're Still Friendly

Even though they've grown apart, Jessie J and Channing Tatum are staying close, and she even dropped a joke on his IG page the other day. As Tatum was promoting his "Magic Mike Live" tour heading to Australia, his singer ex-girlfriend dipped into the comments and left a fun message.

"I wanted it to cut to you doing Pony by the Sydney Opera House so bad Chan... 😞"

Unfortunately, he didn't reply to her comment, but something tells us he probably had a good laugh about it.
