Farrah Abraham, the OG Teen Mom, is once again in the headlines, something she has successfully been able to do, despite any real appearances on new television shows. This time, however, it’s not the best look for the former MTV star.
Upon sharing with social media that she has ‘skinny girl problems’ and is undergoing specific procedures to change that, severe backlash has erupted throughout the internet, calling into question the implications of her comments and posts. But what procedure did she get done and what was said that is lighting social media on fire?
On December 19th, the former reality television star posted on her Instagram a video of her at a doctor’s office. In the post, she is seen sharing that she has found the solution to ‘skinny girl problems’ while slapping her back end.
Abraham explains the procedure stating that she injects frozen fat cells into her backside, which makes it more rounded. In the post, she states, “SKINNY GIRL PROBLEMS NO MORE @aestheticmedicine_lv #Artificialfatinjections.”
“#Skinnygirlproblems no more! ??? @aestheticmedicine_lv has a 5 year #artificialfatinjection for the girls who can’t gain weight or do not want a major surgery! #lasvegas #injections #skinnygirl #buttinjections #fat #booty #medspa #aestheticmedicine_lv,” she continued.
Let’s just say that this post backfired, badly. Fans immediately took to social media to voice their displeasure with what Farrah was doing and the far-reaching implications of the post.
One user criticized her, commenting, “R u for real. To all the skinny girls? Wtf. How many people in the world struggle with body issues both skinny and thick and you want to come posting #skinnygirl that’s not cool.”
Yet another one, while not supporting the move, made light of the situation posting, “Where do I sign up to give this fat away I don’t want it, ?.”
The criticisms and negative comments would not end there, though. Others were critical about Abraham taking the easy way out instead of actually working towards a goal.

One particular fan believed that Abraham could be a better role model if she ate healthy and worked out instead of just cutting corners and getting injections to improve her looks. They commented, “Everybody taking the easy route instead of putting the work in. This country is spiraling fast.”
Another person on Instagram reiterated those thoughts stating, “Or you could smash it out at the gym and it’s waaaaaay cheaper.”
To add insult to injury, fans were even more concerned with her constant need to get plastic surgery and other cosmetic procedures, citing that they believe is could be very dangerous for her health and overall wellbeing.

One fan commenting on her perceived body perception issues and the constant need for cosmetic procedures shared, “I honestly don’t understand all these docs who keep performing these procedures. She’s at a new place every other day. She def has body dysmorphia..which is so sad since she’s so young. You need mental help @farrahabraham , not cosmetic procedures. I’m not saying that to be mean or being a hater…its just the truth, ?♀️.”
Another Instagram user thought that she needed to work on the appearance of her face over injections into other body parts. “She’s really losing her marbles, stop worrying about the flabby a*s and fix your face. Not here being mean but you keep putting all kinds of stuff from different makers in your body that you’re truly messing your self up,” they commented.
Hopefully, Farrah can take some of the advice of her fans on social media. If not for her own physical health, maybe for her perception of her own body and the life of her child.
