Christina Anstead is reflecting on her first year of wedded bliss with new husband Ant Anstead as the couple celebrates their anniversary. The “Christina On the Coast” and “Flip or Flop” star posted a wedding video to her Instagram page showing stylized shots of her and Ant exchanging “I do’s.”
“Happy Anniversary. 1 year ago today! I still get emotional watching this! What a year it’s been. I was 2 weeks pregnant with baby Hudson here and had no idea – ?. @ant_anstead I love you, our blended family and this life with you,” Christina captioned her video.
In the wedding video, the reality star is heard saying her vows to Ant.
“Ant, you are everything I’ve ever wanted and exactly what I’ve always imagined a partnership to be. I will spend my whole life making sure you know how loved and cared for you are. You motivate me to be the best person I can be, you inspire me daily, you ground me and love me and our children with your whole heart.”
Christina continued, “You let me be me, you listen without judgment and love me like I’m brand new. I’ve become a better person since I met you and I will continue to grow with you by my side.”
Christina also talked about her blended family with her new husband, as she shares two children with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, and Ant has two children from a previous relationship.
“I love our blended family, I love our four kids with my whole heart. We all fit together perfectly and it’s like we’ve all known each other forever. Now, on December 22nd under the full moon, Act Two can officially begin.”
Back in September, Christina and Ant welcomed their first child together, baby Hudson.
Even though Christina is divorced from Tarek el Moussa, he’s still very involved in her life as their reality show was picked up for another season. HGTV recently announced the return of “Flip or Flop,” and revealed how the new family dynamic will play a role in the series.
“During the next season of Flip or Flop, cameras will continue to follow the formerly married real estate and house-flipping experts as they navigate both the expected and surprising challenges of co-parenting and running a successful business. And, even more dilapidated houses will be transformed into beautifully renovated homes that can be flipped for a good return on investment. “
