Wendy Williams will not be returning to hosting duties for her talk show, at least for now, due to "serious complications" from Graves' Disease and a thyroid condition.

'The Wendy Williams Show' host released a statement through her production company, outlining the reasons for her not returning to the show -- and announcing they will use fill-in hosts for the upcoming weeks. In the statement, the company does not say when Wendy will be returning to the show, but wouldn't go as far as to say she is out for good.

"The Wendy Williams Show will start airing originals on Monday, October 18, with an exciting lineup of guest hosts and panels to be announced shortly," the statement began.

I have Graves' disease and hyperthyroid. If you have one you don't necessarily have to have the other, but I have both."

Several reports indicate Nick Cannon might be taking the reigns on the television show, but, so far it hasn't been confirmed.
