It’s been a grueling month for Gabby Petito’s family.
She was reported missing on September 11, and by the 19th a body was found in a Wyoming National Park.
Two days later the body was confirmed to be Gabby and her death was ruled a homicide.
Her former fiancé, Brian Laundrie, is still at large and the main person of interest.

He returned to his parent’s home in Florida without Gabby at the beginning of September. Brian along with his parents have been very uncooperative with law enforcement authorities, and his mother and father reported him missing on September 17.
Brian has yet to be located; however, multiple people on the lookout for him claim to have caught him in different parts of the country.

On Tuesday, October 12, Teton County, Wyoming, coroner Brent Blue, announced Gabby’s official cause of death during a live press conference.
The Teton County Coroner’s office filed the following the verdict.
“We hereby find cause and manner of death, death by strangulation and manner is homicide,” Dr. Blue revealed.
Per the Wyoming state statute, the coroner’s office only has to reveal the cause and manner of death.
Dr. Blue said no photos will be released given the state statute. Her body was reportedly in the wilderness for three to four weeks. There will not be an exact date of death on the death certificate.
John Walsh of TV program, “In Pursuit with John Walsh,” went for Brian’s jugular during the coroner’s live stream.
Walsh said, “I think everybody in the world believes Brian Laundrie killed Gabby. With your extensive work on the body are you sure that it’s Brian Laundrie and will the FBI issue a nationwide homicide warrant now that now that they know the cause of death?”

Walsh even called himself ‘old school’ and noted that her ex-fiancé is currently the only suspect.
Dr. Blue was not able to answer questions pertaining to Laundrie and referred Walsh to the FBI and law enforcement.
In an interesting turn of events, Dr. Blue was asked if Gabby was pregnant which he confirmed she was NOT.
