Carrie Underwood has her hands in several different ventures outside of music, one of which is her CALIA collection clothing line of athleisure wear. In a candid Instagram photo, she revealed to fans that she’s hard at work on next year’s designs.
“We’ve been hard at work on next year’s @caliabycarrie collection! #StayThePath,” she captioned an image of herself picking out fabrics for the line.
Of course, fans were delighted to see this. “Hey, Keep doing what you doing with your clothes. They are awesome and so are you. See I told you will win both of your awards this year. Because you are the best country Queen woman,” one wrote.
“You have been doing such a Great job at working on new Calia Clothing!” another said.
“Calla is quality!!! I’ve had one swim suit for 3 summers and it looks brand new,” a third satisfied customer replied.
Underwood talked to Shape Magazine in 2015 when she first launched her clothing line.
“The inspiration for this line came from my desire to have clothes that seamlessly take me from workouts, to errands, to rehearsals, and beyond. As someone who is passionate about health and fitness, I’m excited to offer women a wardrobe that will move with them and encourage them to stay the path of leading an active lifestyle,” she said at the time.
In 2017, she expounded further on the line with WWD.
“I’m your busy mom/friend/wife tying to run around town and get all my chores done and work out,” Underwood said. “[When designing] it was like, ‘What do I want?’ because I am a normal person with just a pretty cool job, so it was fun to come in and be like, ‘I need some place to put my phone when I run.’ I love being able to come in and bring little touches like that. With every collection it gets better.”
In addition to the clothes, Underwood has her first book coming out soon. It’s called “Find Your Path,” and she released a statement about it this week.
“I want to be healthy and fit 52 weeks of the year, but that doesn’t mean I have to be perfect every day,” Underwood said.
“This philosophy is a year-round common-sense approach to health and fitness that involves doing your best most of the time — and by that I don’t mean being naughty for three days and good for four. I mean doing your absolute best most of the time during every week, 52 weeks of the year.”
