We are just days away from seeing Penn Badgley reprise his role as the sexy yet murderous Joe Goldberg in season 3 of “You.”

The popular series will see Joe and Love, played by Victoria Pedretti, pick up life in Los Angeles, California and move to a quiet Northern California suburb to get start life as a family of three.

Yes, you read that right!

This season will see the couple welcome a baby boy named Henry.

In the first trailer that dropped last month, Badgley can be heard narrating the teaser trailer as his character, Joe, saying, “People these days will name their kid anything to get attention.”

A white cake with red icing takes center stage and it has, “Welcome Baby” written on it.

“And despite your mother’s background and your Glammaw’s determination to refer to you as forty reincarnated, I know better,” he continues. “A boy is not what we expected and I would be lying if I said the thought of a mini-me was surely exciting and not without challenges.”

As the trailer goes on, fans can see a new love interest enter the couple’s relationship, more lies being told and of course murders taking place.

Badgley recently opened up about why this season was so much more difficult to film than previous seasons.

You see, the “Gossip Girl” alum became a father IRL the same time he “became a father” in “You.”

The actor and his wife Domino Kirke welcomed a baby boy in 2020, which Badgley described as a “joyful” time.

In an interview with Access Hollywood, the actor said being a father in real life and on-screen was almost not ‘helpful.’

"The funny thing is I was curious what my new fatherhood, how that would influence my experience with Joe and acting with him," he told the outlet. "Sometimes it was almost not helpful because I was having such a light and joyful experience — still am — and Joe is so petrified."

Badgley admitted there is a bit of familiarity of being scared of fatherhood, but Joe takes it to a frightening level.

"He's so scared, and of course I can identify with the fear but he's just so morbid in his obsessive, sort of like self-preservation, primal instinct that sometimes I almost found it harder as a result, you know what I mean? It really depended on the scene,” he noted.

Pedretti, who is not a parent, said taking on the role of Love as a mother was “less confusing.”

Season 3 drops on Netflix this Friday, October 15.
