Megan Fox and boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly, born Colson Baker, got candid about their romance from their first meeting on set to how they inspire each other's careers.
Dubbed as "Hollywood's hottest new power couple," Fox, 35, and MGK, 31, spoke to British GQ Style for the magazine's Autumn/Winter 2021 issue, which they posed for in their first cover photoshoot as a couple, as per People.
How They Met

According to the pair, they met for the first time in 2020 on the set of Midnight In The Switchgrass. However, they revealed that they actually met a few years before filming the movie -- they were introduced at a GQ party in LA.
"This weird thing happened," Fox said. "We didn’t see each other. Do you remember [seeing] my face?" she asked MGK.
"That’s what’s crazy. I don’t. I don’t remember your face," he told Fox.
"I don’t remember your face... And I definitely would have remembered his face," she recalled. "I just remember this tall, blond, ghostly creature and I looked up and I was like, 'You smell like weed.' He looked down at me and he was like, 'I am weed.' Then, I swear to God, he disappeared like a ninja in a smoke bomb."
Second Time's The Charm
When Fox and MGK met for the second time, which they dubbed as the real first time, the actress reminded the musician about their first encounter, then the rest is history.
The couple has been dating since May 2020 and went public with their relationship by attending a red carpet event later that year.
Fox shared to the publication that when she first met MGK, she wasn't expecting to meet her "soulmate."
"[I was] definitely open [to] love, but I did not anticipate walking right into my soulmate like that. I was obviously over the way I had been living, and those paths lined up, those doors opened," the Jennifer's Body star stated. "It was [as if] all the obstacles that had kept us apart all those years [had been removed] and we were able to finally intersect."
Her 'Soulmate'

Fox revealed to The Washington Post in July that she and MGK have only worked together on Midnight in the Switchgrass for two days, but within that short span of time, she already felt a "magical" connection with him.
"The first time I looked into his eyes, I was like, 'I know you. I have known you so many times, in so many different forms, in so many different lives,'" Fox said, adding that she "wasn't expecting it'd be like, 'God, you are my soulmate,' instantly."
In an episode of The Howard Stern Show, MGK shared that his relationship with Fox made him "a better person," and that he fell in love "for the first time" while dating Fox.
He Admits That They Also Have Problems
In the recent interview with GQ, the "Bad Things" singer also opened up about their relationship -- that despite what everyone thinks -- they also go through hurdles.
"It should be light, but also we go to hell with each other," MGK said. "It's ecstasy and agony for sure… I don't want people to think anything's perfect with us. I didn't say it was the darkest fairy tale for no reason."
MGK also shared that Fox inspired his music.
"It’s almost like she reconnected a wire in my brain. Creativity won’t stop coming out," he said.
The former rapper also dished about how he used his talent in courting Fox.
"I’m just better at speaking with my music," he shared. "I couldn’t express myself the right way to her, so I brought her a song. It says everything. It’s the simplest guitar line with the purest form of how one could feel about another person and representing how they love each other."
