Last month, Nicki Minaj had social media on fire due to various comments she made about COVID-19 vaccines. At the time, she made it known that she was unvaccinated against the virus, and how she had to do more “research,” before finally deciding to take one of the COVID vaccines available. At the time, she also revealed that Met Gala guests, could not be in attendance, without being vaccinated.
“They want you to get vaccinated for the Met,” said Nicki, on her Twitter feed. if I get vaccinated it won’t for the Met. It’ll be once I feel I’ve done enough research. I’m working on that now. In the meantime my loves, be safe. Wear the mask with 2 strings that grips your head & face. Not that loose one.”
Nicki Also Claimed That Her Cousin’s Friend Suffered Vaccine Side Effects
During that epic Twitter rant, Nicki also made the interesting claim, that her cousin’s friend, in Trinidad & Tobago, suffered swollen testicles, after taking a COVID vaccine. She even claimed how that man’s wife called off their wedding, due to that alleged side effect happening.
“My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent,” said Nicki. “His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied.”
Health officials in Trindad went on to debunk this claim, as they revealed that they did their own investigation, and was proven to be false. They also believe the work that they had to put in was a waste of time.
Trinidad Health Minister Dr. Terrence Deyalsingh says they wasted time investigating Nicki Minaj’s claim that her cousin’s friend had swollen testicles as a side effect of the vaccine . He says there is no reported case of it or proof that it actually happened. pic.twitter.com/lFeHZzYDH1

Nicki Now Believes Her Vaccine Comments Has Her Shadow-Banned On Social Media
In a recent Instagram Live session, Nicki weighed in on her COVID vaccine controversy, again. She has the assumption that her social media accounts are being shadow-banned, due to those comments, in September. Being shadow-banned means that posts by a user may not be visible to others. She did not specify which social media accounts of hers were shadow-banned, though. At the time of Nicki’s initial Twitter rant, her account was soon restricted, to where she couldn’t tweet anymore, for a certain amount of hours. Some fans agree that her accounts are being restricted, while others have had no problems viewing them.

Nicki Has Been Very Vocal On Social Media Since May
Earlier this year, Nicki Minaj hadn’t been very active on her social media feeds. Starting in mid-May though, Nicki returned to Instagram and Twitter, and since then, has been posting frequently. In one of her first Instagram posts since the social media hiatus, she had fans going crazy, over a pair of pink Crocs that she was wearing. That also caused a huge spike in sales, for the Crocs brand. During that week, Nicki went on to rerelease her classic 2009 “Beam Me Up Scotty” mixtape, which included several new songs. These were “Fractions,” and “Seeing Green,” featuring Drake and Lil Wayne.
