Many know about Kanye West‘s massive ranch, out in Cody, Wyoming. He’s held various events there, as well as his “Ye” album listening event, back in the summer of 2018. Last summer, Kanye was also seen having a huge argument with his now-estranged wife, Kim Kardashian. That had occurred after Kanye revealed during his South Carolina presidential rally, that month, that he and Kardashian contemplated getting an abortion, in the fall of 2012. At the time, Kardashian was pregnant with their first child, North.
Kanye’s Wyoming Ranch Hits The Market, At $11 Million
Kanye’s time in Cody may be winding down soon. According to TMZ, the rapper is listing the Monster Lake Ranch property, for $11 million. Kanye was said to have paid close to $14 million for this ranch, back in September 2019. This property spans 4,500 acres, and includes eight lodging units. This is one of two Wyoming ranches that Kanye owned, as he still has his Bighorn Mountain Ranch.
Kanye Listing Wyoming Ranch Starts Kim Kardashian Reconciliation Rumors
Kanye recently assisted Kim Kardashian, in her “Saturday Night Live” hosting gig, which went down, this past weekend. The two have also hung out lately, such as having dinner at Nobu, in Malibu, as well as Kim attending Ye’s “Donda” album listening events, this summer. With this Wyoming ranch hitting the market, this is also stirring speculation, that Kanye and Kim may call off their divorce.
The divorce was initially announced in the first few days of 2021, and with paperwork being filed in mid-February, by Kim. She brought on a divorce attorney, Laura Wasser, to assist her in that process.
Kanye Purchased $57.3 Million Malibu Home Last Month
Another sign that Kanye could possibly be repairing his marriage with Kim, is him purchasing a $57.3 million home, in Malibu, last month. This property was designed by the famed Japanese architect, Tadao Ando.
This property is 4,000 square feet and was initially listed at $75 million. The home also overlooks the Pacific Ocean and contains four beds and 4.5 bathrooms. The Malibu property is also 30 minutes away from Kim’s Hidden Hills home.
Kanye Is Also Bringing ‘Donda Academy’ To Southern California
Kanye has been making power moves lately as well, which includes plans to open up his own school, Donda Academy. This is said to be coming to the Simi Valley area, of Southern California.
Applications for students are currently available, and it is on its way to becoming a notable basketball school, as well. Kanye has already been able to get a 5-star recruit, Jahki Howard, to transfer there from his school, in Norcross, GA. The search is also on for a head coach of the team, and with the attention that Donda Academy is already receiving, getting a big name may not be hard to accomplish at all.
Adidas is also said to be the brand to appear on the team’s uniforms. Other recruits already landed by the school are Robert Dillingham, Zion Cruz, and Jalen Hooks. Brandon Robinson of Bally Sports also reported that Donda Academy will be opened, before the end of 2021.
