Demi Lovato is back at it again with a very new, very bizarre statement.
The singer recently revealed that they find it offensive to use the term “Aliens” when referring to extra-terrestrial life.
Seriously… this is not a joke.
They made the claim to an Australian outlet called, Pedestrian.TV.
The “Lonely” singer said, “I really think that if there was anything out there that would want to do that to us, it would have happened by now. But, I think that we have to stop calling them aliens because aliens is a derogatory term for anything.”
The continued, “That’s why I like to call them ETs! So yeah, that’s a little tidbit. A little information that I learned.”
Demi’s statement came out while they were dishing on their new show, “Unidentified with Demi Lovato,” which is centered around looking for and identifying extraterrestrial life.
Think of it like “Ghost Adventures,” but Demi and co. are searching / hunting down Martian life.
Many bewildered fans took to Twitter their reactions and they did not disappoint.
One fan tweeted, “Did Demi Lovato really just say aliens is a derogatory term? Bruh what.”
Another responded with a laughing GIF and the following message, “Me overhearing Demi Lovato saying, ‘We have to stop referring to aliens as aliens because alien is a derogatory term.’”

This supportive yet skeptical fan tweeted out, “Man I love Demi Lovato but first with the yogurt and now with this whole aliens thing, what is happening?”
Demi got the idea for her new Peacock show after a crazy experience in Joshua Tree, California.
In the trailer, they say, “I had this crazy experience that happened to me in Joshua Tree. It was this bright light. It kind of moved in this weird ways that a plane wouldn’t move. My goal is to find out what really happened.”
Demi likens themself to a “singer, activist and UFO experiencer.”
They along with their BFF Matthew Montgomery and sister Dallas Lovato, tour the US in a massive RV to ‘investigate the unexplained and unidentified.’
‘Unidentified’ is a four part series currently streaming only on Peacock!
