Countless people like to think that they have a famous, celebrity doppelganger, but celebrities having a doppelganger that happens to also be a celebrity? Not very likely. Cox took it all in stride, as did a handful of other A-listers, who made sure to give their input on this hilarious mistaken identity.

The 55-year-old posted the screenshot of the original image that David Spade had shared to his Instagram account, providing some reactions through comments. Cox added the caption, "[David Spade] posted this pic, now I really don't think I looked like myself but this was surprising..."

To further drive home the resemblance, she also added another picture that had both Cox and Caitlyn Jenner split, captioning it with, "Alright...I can see it." Friends and fans, alike, didn't hesitate to comment, praising Cox for her humor and taking it in stride.

Cox's partner-in-crime and former Friends costar, Jennifer Aniston, commented on the photo saying, "You're hilarious. Oh my GOD I love you."

The Pearl Jam frontman, Eddie Vedder, subtly proclaimed, "Stop it," with several laughing emojis following the comment.

Fans joined in on the party, as well, with one user complimenting Cox on her humor. "I love your sense of humor and how you just don’t let anything get to you! you’re seriously the best. and YOURE BEAUTIFUL, never forget that," they wrote.

Nick Viall, a former star on the Bachelor, was also in the photo and commented himself saying, "Are you telling me you don’t want to get with this?!" This, of course, is a nod to a Friends episode.

Viall must be aware of some of the rumblings amongst social media that a Friends reunion might be occurring at some point in the near future. Both Cox and Aniston have continually thrown out hints on social media that this might actually be in the works.

In fact, according to The Hollywood Reporter, both Cox and Aniston, along with Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer are in the process of discussing a project with the show's original creator and producer and HBO Max.

The source close to the situation revealed, "The cast of Friends have discussed bringing the show back in some capacity,” the source said. "But in what form is still very much up for discussion."

Given how successful the show was, as well as, how long it has remained relevant and on television, it's safe to say that a reunion between the eclectic cast would make a lot of people happy.
