This weekend, cameras spotted actor Ben Affleck out with his 10-year-old daughter Seraphina in Los Angeles. The two appeared to be sharing a tender moment together following Seraphina's soccer practice.

Seraphina is the middle child of the three children that Affleck had with his now ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. The two were seen strolling together arm in arm, and Affleck even let Seraphina climb a tree. All the while, the two seemed to be carrying on a pretty lovely and low-key conversation.

In video captured by The Daily Mail, we can even see Affleck helping his daughter down from the tree and giving her a few kisses. All in all, it seemed like a sweet, pleasant day in LA.

Fans reacted with overwhelming positivity to this look at Affleck's personal life, and some also pointed out that Seraphina looks like her both of her parents. "Ben's Daughter looks just like him! So Precious!" one commenter wrote. "Very sweet moment," said another. "Good to see him doing better."

After marrying in 2005, Affleck and Garner were together for a decade before divorcing in 2015. Their divorce was finalized in 2018, and Affleck has publicly struggled with addiction in recent years, going through several stints in rehab.

In addition to Seraphina, the two are also parents to Violet, who is 14, and Samuel, who is 7. Although Garner and Affleck are no longer together, the two are still quite friendly, which has helped their children deal with the divorce.

"I hope I'm a pretty good dad," Affleck said on The Today Show earlier this year. "I certainly try very hard. I'm lucky they've got a great mom and she helps out a great deal with making sure that we co-parent in as good a way as possible. I think dads are so important to kids and it's our responsibility to be there for them, to be present, to be mindful, to be attentive, to be part of their lives, to be as in it as moms."

Affleck also admitted that being a good father was the "central preoccupation" of his life. He also added that it's "what makes [him] happy, the rest of the stuff kind of follows."

Given his focus on being a good father, it's likely that Affleck is already better than most men in that department. That doesn't mean that he's a perfect dad, but he's trying hard to be one, and sometimes, that's all you can ask a person to do — try their best.
