It’s been a month since NeNe Leakes painfully said goodbye to her husband of 24 years, Gregg Leakes, but her admirers aren’t letting up at all!
Last week, the reality star took to her Instagram story to appreciate her fans for the outpour of love and support and, in the process, dropped a major bomb about her thoughts on finding love again.
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star began her Live by showing love to all those who stood by her during her mourning period. She thanked those that stopped by the lounge and gave a special shoutout to singer CeeLo Green.
It Goes Down In The DMs
After thanking fans and colleagues, NeNe gave a special mention to all the men who have been messaging her. Although she didn’t share the content of their messages, she hinted that they were dating advances when she said:
Thank you to everybody and all the gentlemen that have been in my DMs, thank y’all too!
She then gave a coy smile to the camera before seemingly giving the romantic advances a clear answer about where she stands with dating. The 53-year-old stated that she was “doing me right now,” before praising the messages for being “inspiring.”
As you might know, Gregg passed away on September 1 following a long battle with colon cancer. He was 66 years old, and days before his demise, NeNe was open about his health struggle and how he wasn’t going to make it.
Following his death, the reality star opened up about her husband’s final moments and comforting last words to her. She recalled that the businessman was surrounded by loved ones in their Atlanta home.
She revealed that he told her, “I’m not going to leave you. God is going to bless you,” and even encouraged her to move on with her life.
Following the devastating loss, the mother-of-two has been trying to move on and find closure in her own way. The Blast previously reported that the “RHOA” star officially listed the Atlanta home where she lived with Gregg for $4 million.

A source revealed that the decision to put the property on the market was a way of starting afresh and letting go of some bad memories she had there. The seven-bedroom property was purchased by the former couple in 2015 for a little over $2 million.
Nevertheless, the insider revealed that it’s not certain NeNe would leave Atlanta for good even though there’s no certainty of her return to the Bravo reality show. She still has some other ventures and businesses in the city, including her lounge, The Linnethia.
