'Bombshell' premiered yesterday Friday December 13th and the film's center focus, Megyn Kelly, had a lot to say about it after seeing it in theaters.

'Bombshell' depicted the real-life story of news reporter Megyn Kelly speaking out about the sexual harassment she endured during her time at Fox News. The official plot reads, "A revealing look inside the most powerful and controversial media empire of all time and the explosive story of the women who brought down the infamous man who created it."

Megyn Kelly documented her experiencing watching 'Bombshell' on Instagram. At first, she was amused by her son's reaction to the film's movie poster.

"As we walked into the theatre, our 6-year-old stopped at this poster promoting another movie hitting the big screen. The ad confused him because it appears to show a picture of me," Kelly's caption began.

She then went on to discuss more serious matters about the film. While she was pleased with the film's message, she pointed out that she would've done it differently.

Kelly also notes that she wasn't at all involved with the creative process of the film.

"But while the movie Bombshell is loosely based on my experience during the sexual harassment scandal at Fox News, I have nothing to do with this film. I did not sell the rights to my story or book and only got my first look at the film once it was past the point of any possible edits, though there are certainly some I would have made," she added.

Watching this picture was an incredibly emotional experience for me, and for those with whom I saw it. Sexual harassment is pervasive in this country; it can leave scars that do not heal. My heart goes out to those who’ve gone through it, who I hope might find some comfort in this story. As for my thoughts about the film, I’ll have more soon," Kelly concluded.

All of the actors portrayed real-life people in 'Bombshell' who banded together to stand up to sexual harassment at Fox.

Charlize Theron played Megyn Kelly, Nicole Kidman played Gretchen Carlson and Margot Robbie played Kayla Pospisil.

Despite the fact that Charlize Theron is a renowned actress who has tackled many difficult roles prior to 'Bombshell', Theron noted that this was the most challenging role she has played so far.

"[Megyn Kelly]'s incredibly well known," Theron said according to [PopCulture.] (https://popculture.com/movies/2019/12/14/megyn-kelly-breaks-silence-bombshell-charlize-theron/) "I’ve never played anybody on that level. I’ve played real people that nobody knows about so there was less pressure when I did those."
