Cheryl Burke and Cody Rigsby are back where they belong ― right by each other's side!
After a heartbreaking separation that happened earlier this month due to both partners testing positive for COVID-19, the duo had a heartwarming reunion over the weekend!
All Reunited!
Yesterday, Burke took to her Instagram to share a photo of her and Rigsby back in the studio. The pair rocked goofy Disney hats, indicating they were at rehearsals for the upcoming Disney Week as they posed playfully for the camera.
Alongside a boomerang clip of them serving fierce faces, Burke wrote in the accompanying caption, "reunited and it feels so good! @codyrigsby."
Fans celebrated their return in the comments section, with many praising them for being the dream team and urging the judges to treat them fairly.
According to People, days before the reunion, Burke took to her Instagram to announce that she was done with quarantine and was finally cleared. Sharing a one-minute plus clip, the 37-year-old stated that although she was clear, it wasn't the same for her partner.
She noted that the Peloton instructor was still in quarantine but would be cleared by the weekend. Concluding her message, she appreciated their fans for standing by them through the difficult time and expressed joy at finally rehearsing in person.
The Hardest Remote Performance
As you might know, Burke announced her COVID-19 news on September 26, and about a week after Rigsby shared that he tested positive for the virus for the second time.
Following their diagnosis, the "Dancing with the Stars" team advised the pair to perform their upcoming routine virtually from their respective quarantine locations.

Last week, the duo did their virtual performance, the first of its kind for the dancing competition, performing a jazz routine in honor of Britney week, but it wasn't well appreciated by the judges who gave them a score of 18 out of 30. However, luckily, they remained part of the competition.
The pair ended the night at the bottom, with the judges noting that they were not in sync. As The Blast previously reported, Burke described the virtual routine as "one of the hardest things" she had ever done.
She recalled the difficulty of turning her living room into a ballroom and then handing makeup and costume by herself. Although practicing for the routine was difficult, the pro dancer described it as an "exciting challenge" that she was forever grateful for.
