For Jeff Kimball and his family, this time of the year especially tough. The father of two recently lost his job and his wife, to sarcoma, several years prior. The emotional toll, as well as, the financial aspects have really affected the family. Because of these unfortunate events, Baldwin and his two children were brought onto Ellen's show, 'Ellen's Greatest Night of Giveaways,' and were blown away. It was a tear-jerking moment, for sure, but ended in such an amazing way. To help assist with the wonderful surprise that Ellen had for the family, she enlisted the help of the Friends star, Jennifer Aniston.

On the show, Kimball opened up specifically about the loss of his wife, when one of his daughters was only three years old. He shared that his wife was such a huge fan of Degeneres' Finding Nemo character, Dory, which made Aniston immediate tear up. Kimball shared with the host and audience that at one point before going into a thirteen-hour surgery, he blew her a kiss and told her to 'just keep swimming', a node to Dory's line in the movie and ultimately, a mantra that the family used to help them get through the tough times.

Aniston, obviously emotional, asked Kimball the question, "Oh my God, I mean, what would your wife say right now if she knew you guys were here?" Kimball responded by sharing, "She would be so happy. Ellen, she was your biggest fan, so she'd be like, 'Move over because I'm getting closer!'" The mere fact that they were able to get on the show wasn't their biggest surprise of the night, though. The Friends actress organized a group of people to adorn the Kimball family's house with lights and decorations, as well as, supplied them with a Christmas tree and presents to go around.

A Magical Night

In such an emotional moment, the lives of the Kimball family were, at least temporarily, changed. It's surely something that they will never forget. The remainder of the show didn't disappoint, either. Other celebrities were on hand to assist families including Justin Timberlake, Chrissy Teigen, Jason Mamoa, Robert Downey Jr., Melissa McCarthy, and Michelle Obama. It was truly a magical show and emphasized that this is the season of giving, especially for those who are having to endear such tragic times during the holiday season.
