Bill Cosby says that denying his appeal to overturn his sexual assault conviction is further proof that the judicial system is corrupt. The disgraced comedian lost his bid Tuesday as an appeals court upheld Cosby's original verdict.
Cosby's legal team had argued that prosecutors should not have called accusers, other than Andrea Constand, to testify in the case. On Tuesday, the Superior Court supported the right of prosecutors to call other accusers to strengthen the case they had against Cosby.
After the decision was announced, Andrea Constand, told the press "This decision is a reminder that no one is above the law."
