Daisy Ridley, 29, is best known for playing the Jedi, Rey, in the “Star Wars” franchise.

She has gone on to star in “Chaos Walking” with Tom Holland and has even competed in a charity bake-off competition for Stand Up to Cancer.

In a recent interview, she revealed that she is ready to explore ‘a different side’ to her acting.

Ridley is lending her vocals to “Zoetrope,” an audiobook that ties a young girl named Tamsin into the death of her boss.

Ridley says that she enjoys the challenge of voice acting because she can add her own personality into the character.

Ridley is not the only “Star Wars” alum to pursue voice acting. Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, played by Mark Hamill, has taken on numerous voice acting roles since his “Star Wars” debut, most notably as the voice of “Batman” villain Joker.

Even though Ridley’s response has been noncommittal, there are still rumors that Disney wants to continue Rey’s story in a galaxy far, far away.

Although Rey’s future is uncertain, Disney is focusing on several prequel projects, including “The Book of Boba Fett,” which is set to debut on Disney+ on December 29, 2021.

Fans can also expect season 3 of “The Mandalorian,” “Kenobi,” “Andor,” and “Ahsoka” to appear on Disney+ in 2022 and beyond.
