Kim Kardashian is more than ready for her “Saturday Night Live” debut on Saturday. At least that’s what she says!
In a new teaser trailer released on the eve of her hosting gig, Kardashian was seen alongside Halsey, who will be the musical guest, and “SNL” cast member Cecily Strong as they introduced the show.
The “KUWTK” star stood flagged by both women and said, “Hi, I’m Kim Kardashian West and I’m hosting SNL this week with Halsey.” Strong then interjected, bringing up a “crazy thought” about starting a girl group, to which the “Without Me” crooner said, “Absolutely not.”
Kardashian West supported Halsey’s sentiment, telling Strong that they had already objected to the idea backstage when she first pitched it. After the playful banter between the ladies, Strong asked the reality star if she was “nervous” about hosting.
A Piece Of Cake!
Kardashian responded, asking Strong why she would feel nervous, saying, “Why? I don’t have to write sketches, do I? Memorize lines?” to which Halsey replied, “No, there are cue cards.”
Riding on the wave of confidence, the mother-of-four asked the girls, “everyone else won’t look as good as me, will they?” to which Strong answered no. Then, with a smile on her face, Kim concluded, “This is so easy.”
While Kardashian made hosting look like a piece of cake in the trailer, People Magazine previously reported that she was feeling a bit pressured about the big moment.
A source revealed to the publication that she considered the hosting gig a huge deal and was feeling both “nervous and thrilled.”

Enlisting Help From The Ex!
However, it seems Kardashian was able to get over her initial feeling of nervousness with some help from her estranged husband, Kanye West. Despite filing for divorce in February, the duo has remained amicable and are still very much a part of each others’ lives.
The Blast previously reported that the SKIMS founder has been consulting the famed rapper for the hosting gig as she values his creative and artistic opinion.
Although Kanye has never hosted the famed sketch comedy show, he has served as a musical guest seven times and is quite familiar with the ropes of “SNL.”

Before their reported collaboration for “SNL,” Kardashian and Kanye sparked reconciliation rumors when they were spotted enjoying a dinner date at Nobu in Malibu alongside some friends.
The mother of four was also seen affectionately supporting the kids’ father during his “Donda” listening events months ago.
