Michelle Young is set to be featured in the 18th season of “The Bachelorette” which will be coming to our screens later in October.
Fans were able to learn one or two things about her personal life when she was a competitor in Matt James’ season of “The Bachelor.”

Who Is Michelle Young?
Michelle Young is an American elementary school teacher and a television personality who was born on June 3, 1993, in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, United States. The American star studied Elementary Education and Teaching at Bradley University, Illinois.
She became widely known after being the runner-up in the 25th season of “The Bachelor” and as the star expected to feature in the 18th season of “The Bachelorette.” She was a contestant in one of the previous seasons of “The Bachelor” and she made it to the final round in the third week of the competition.
In Minnesota, she was born and raised by Ephraim and LaVonne Young, who also had two other children, Alex and Angela. She was a basketball player in her high school, Woodbury, and also in Bradley University during her college years. At this time, she was on an athletic scholarship.
Apart from her appearances on different TV shows, she works as a teacher at Echo Park Elementary School in Minnesota. Before she started working there, she was working as a fourth-grade teacher at a school in Bloomington.
Young talked about her love and affection for children which led to her teaching job. She works as a full-time teacher in her current elementary school and her passion for children earned her fans’ hearts.

She once said that her dream man should be brave but not arrogant about it. She further explained that she wants a man who will see her as an equal partner in all things.

She also said that she likes to show love to people by rendering services to them and she is compassionate. Furthermore in her bio, she made it clear that she has big plans for her future.

What is Young’s Relationship Red Flag?
In a Twitter post, the American TV personality answered questions that addressed relationship fouls alongside her suitors.
As a basketball player, both in high school and college, she used an analogy related to the sport to discuss what she looks out for in a man.
She said that her red flag in a relationship is a partner who gets too excited about something that they don’t notice anything else around them, i.e. someone who gets caught up in any drama.
It also refers to someone who is enthralled by a situation so much that they are enslaved in that condition. It is something she can’t put up with or tolerate in a relationship.
The Bachelorette Star’s Appearance on ‘The Bachelor’ Season
As said earlier, Young was a contestant on one of the previous seasons of “The Bachelor” franchise. She made it to the final round where she was eliminated while her fellow contestant, Rachael Kirkconnell, was picked.
Although she joined the season late, she was able to attract people’s attention and fans loved her for how honest she was throughout the show.
She held a media session with Matt James of the 25th season of “The Bachelor” series. Young students threw questions at James regarding his feelings for their teacher. One asked if they are currently dating and another asked if they had kissed before.
