Peace has been called in the war between Aquaman and Star-Lord after Jason Momoa called out Chris Pratt for holding a single-use plastic water bottle. Momoa took to Instagram on Tuesday night and issued an apology to his "The Lego Movie 2" co-star and apologized for dragging him on social media. He included a photo of his children with Pratt and tried to smooth things over after causing a ton of negative press for his eco-friendly slam.

"BRO you know my children and I are madly in love with you and I love everything you do. I’m sorry this was received so badly today I didn’t mean for that to happen," Momoa wrote.

The "See" star continued:

"I’m just very passionate about this single use plastic epidemic. the plastic water bottles have to stop i hope u make a reusable water bottle for amazon so we all can purchase. You’re an inspiration to many I’m one of them. I’ll send you a case of MANANALU. All my Aloha, Da Momoa’s."

The apology came after Momoa called out the "Jurassic World" star for posing with a water bottle during a paid promotion with Amazon that was posted to Pratt's Instagram page. Momoa dipped into the comments and put his Hollywood pal on full blast.

""bro i love u but wtf on the water bottle. no single use plastic. come on."

Pratt clearly didn't want any issues with "Aquaman" and his army of eco-friendly supporters, so he eventually replied to Momoa in his own comments and apologized for the oversight.

"Aquaman! You're completely right. Dammit. I always carry my big gallon size reusable water jug around with me too. I even had it that day!!! If i remember correctly somebody threw that plastic bottle to me in the photo shoot cause I didn't know what to do with my hands! I never know what to do with my hands! So uncomfortable. For real tho. Love you buddy. My bad. I don't want your home of Atlantis covered in plastic. Hear that kids? Reduce. Reuse. Recycle."

It's nice that all is well between Momoa and Pratt, but the fight is not yet over and the former "Game of Thrones" star is serious about eliminating single-use plastic. He's been supporting a bill in Hawaii that will set new regulations about eco-friendly materials, and the

"Time to actively Turn Off the Tap - An Oʻahu with no single use plastic service wear is possible now - Bill 40 is ready for you to support one final time."

"95% of the plastic industry is US or European (and we ship great amounts of plastic elsewhere after getting it imported - let’s take responsibility for ourselves before pointing fingers elsewhere )

We spend millions of dollars to clean up plastic pollution locally and billions globally.

Plastics are made of fossil fuels and will be 20% of the fossil fuel budget on our current pace.

Businesses don’t go out of business from not using plastic, they make change and adapt to better business practices.

Mahalo to all of you who have testified, shared, and been a part of this movement already!"
