The Kid LAROI is the biggest thing in music right now.
The Australian native released a hit song with Justin Bieber called, “Stay,” and he even signed on with JB’s long-time friend and manager Scooter Braun in June.
LAROI joined Braun’s all-star SB Projects roster, which includes Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, J Balvin, Dan + Shay and Tori Kelly, among others.
He initially rose to fame in 2020 after the release of his EP “F**K LOVE,” which featured his massive single, “Without You.”

LAROI was nominated for best new artist at the MTV Video Music Awards, which were held on Sept. 12
However, now it looks like Braun will be singing “Without You,” because LAROI is jumping ship from SB Projects, according to Billboard.
The singer reportedly left SB Projects due to Braun’s lack of involvement, multiple broken promises and exclusion from decision-making.
The outlet reports there was an awkward Zoom meeting exchange that happened between LAROI and Braun after he left Grade A management.
According to Billboard, Braun simply told LAROI multiple times, “I’m the best man.”
I’m The Best!
A source tells the outlet, LAROI and his team found the reality of the arrangement different. The mega-manager allegedly made “a promise” that he would be directly involved with LAROI, but there was not enough participation from him and the singer had “significant problems” with Braun’s other business partners.
Braun said in a statement, “LAROI is a brilliant artist, and I wish him and his family but the best. I’m proud of the historic success we had together in our short time- I’m rooting for him always and he knows that.”

LAROI has since signed with Adam Leber’s company, Rebel Entertainment. Leber represents other superstars like Miley Cyrus, Lil Nas X, and Labrinth.
Billboard’s source says LAROI spent a month trying to work things out with SB Projects, which includes speaking directly with Braun, before signing with Leber.
Despite the breakup between LAROI and Braun, it seems there is no animosity between the former singer and manager.
As many know, Braun is a polarizing figure in the music industry.
He represents heavy hitters such as Grande, Bieber and Lovato, but he also has one major arch nemesis, Taylor Swift.
