Justin Bieber Reminisces On The Use Of The ‘N’ Word, Says He Was Ignorant!

Several artists in the industry have at one point in their lives done things that they later regretted and the most important thing is that they acknowledge these wrongs. One of such artists is Justin Bieber, who recently came out to apologize to the black race for the comments he made in ignorance when he was younger. The singer also went on to acknowledge that some of the things he said were not only racist, but they hurt a lot of people and for that, he was sorry.

The 25-year-old music star made his stand against racism known to the public via Instagram, where he posted a graphic that had the words; "STAND AGAINST RACISM" boldly written on it. He also captioned the post with explanations of how he used some racist terms in the past. He mentioned that when he was younger and uneducated, he said and did some hurtful things that unknown to him affected a lot of people around him and in the industry. He went on to say that at that time, he had no idea how powerful his words were.

The singer wrote that he knew for a fact that racism was frequent in many countries, but he is willing to use his voice for the greater good by standing against racism in any part of the world. The singer mentioned that every human being is equal before God and the fact that some people like to make it look otherwise is wrong. Fans took to the comment section of the post to applaud the singer for realizing his wrongs and trying to make things right. Some fans also shared their views on racism and declared their stand with Bieber.

Racism is an important topic in the world today and several organizations have put things in place to fight against this act in order to make environments durable for colored people. Back in the day, people paid little or no attention to the feelings of black people, but as time went on, they began to realize that all human beings are equal, regardless of the colors of their skin.

Justin Bieber is not the only artist who has openly declared his stand against racism. Other artists include; Celine Dion, Ellen DeGeneres, Margaret Atwood, Mike Myers, Ralph Fiennes and so on.

Justin Drew Bieber was born on March 1, 1994, in London Ontario, Canada. The singer was discovered at the age of thirteen by Scooter Braun after seeing a YouTube video. In 2008, Bieber signed with RBMG Records and in late 2009, he released his debut EP titled "My World." At the peak of his career, in 2010, Bieber started dating co-artist, Selena Gomez and they were considered Hollywood's adorable couple. However, things were not great with the duo as they were always on and off and finally, in 2018, they split up. Bieber started dating Hailey Baldwin and by July, the duo were engaged.
