Lori Loughlin's Daughter Olivia Jade Returns to YouTube: 'I Want to Move On'

By Gary Trock

Lori Loughlin's 20-year-old daughter is so over all the drama surrounding the child admissions scandal that her mother and father are still facing, because she wants to "move on" with her life. Olivia Jade just filmed her first YouTube Vlog in almost 9 months, and even though there's a lot to say on what's been going on in her life, she made it clear she's not able to divulge much. Nervously explaining her absence, Olivia tried to dance around what she's able to say.

The Explanation

"Hi everybody, it's Olivia Jade welcome back to my YouTube channel. Obviously I've been gone for a really long time and as much as I wish I could talk about all of this ... it's really hard for me to say this because I know that its something that needs to be addressed, it's just, unfortunately, I didn't know when I could come back to YouTube, I'm not even allowed to speak on anything going on right now."

Olivia explained, "Part of me thought should I come back to YouTube, it's been so long and I miss it, I genuinely miss filming and a huge part of me is not the same, it's something I'm really passionate about and like to do."

However, she admitted if there was any point to come back and start vlogging if she couldn't talk about anything going on in her personal life, let alone the elephant in the room that most fans are going to want to know about.

She then went on to say, "I'm coming back because I want to come back."

"Thank you so much for your patience and for those who stuck around for 9 months waiting. I really appreciate it, I want to move on with my life ... not trying to be in a selfish way ... not trying to make this about me or how I've been. Although I'm terrified to make this video and come back I know that I also want to take smaller steps in the right direction."

She ended her 2-minute video by saying, "Moral of the story is I've missed you guys so much and I'm excited to start filming again and uploading again."

Fans Are Supportive

While Olivia Jade and Lori Loughlin have taken plenty of negative criticism since it was alleged they faked her daughter's career as a rower for USC to gain admissions into the university, the 20-year-old influencer's fans praised her for the new vlog. Jumping into the comments of her YouTube video, many fans left comments of love and support.

"I can hear and feel the pain in her voice, she’s afraid to talk to us on YouTube and she’s asking us for permission to be on YouTube, I support you," one fan wrote.

"Everyone makes mistakes, and everyone makes different mistakes. Just own up to it, apologize, and move on," another commented.

Another fan hoped she learned from the experience:

"I just hope you grew as a person and started to recognize how and why your privilege and behavior took over. I hope you can learn from all of this and I hope to see it has humbled you and made you realize the important things in life."
