Ray J is currently in the hospital, battling pneumonia.
The singer’s manager David Weintraub revealed to Hollywood Unlocked that Ray-J was admitted to a hospital in Miami, Florida, about four days ago after struggling to breathe.
Initially, it was believed that Ray-J was suffering from COVID-19, so he was placed in the COVID wing. However, after doctors conducted more than five COVID tests on him, all of which were negative, he was moved out of the wing.
The publication reported that the “One Wish” crooner remains in bad shape and struggles with breathing even though he’s receiving oxygen.
The 40-year-old reportedly fears for the worst and is asking for fans to send him some prayers. However, Weintraub hopes that his client will be out of the hospital by the end of the week.
No Family Member By His Side
The “Love&Hip Hop Hollywood” star spoke to Hollywood Unlocked about his hospitalization and shared that he has been alone throughout his devastating ordeal. He said:
I been in here all by myself for a week. No family member came to see me not even my wife.
Ray-J didn’t go into details about why he had no support during this challenging time. However, neither his wife, Princess Love, nor his sister Brandy have publicly reacted to his claims or acknowledged his hospitalization.
Ray-J and Princess Love tied the knot in 2016 and have two children, but their relationship has been filled with a lot of ups and downs.
In September 2020, Ray J filed for divorce, but it was reported that the duo called it off earlier this year, with Ray-J promising to work at their marriage.
As for Ray-J’s relationship with sister Brandy, things seem to be going well between the duo. Days before his health challenge, the “Right Here” crooner celebrated her brother with a hilarious photo of a tattoo he got of her name.
The Sex Tape Scandal
Ray-J’s pneumonia battle comes on the heels of another drama involving his ex, Kim Kardashian. The Blast previously reported rumors of a second part to the infamous sex tape of the former lovers.

It happened that music manager Wack 100, during a podcast appearance, alleged that he was part of the sex tape and possessed unreleased footage that he wanted to sell to Kanye West as an NFT.
However, Kardashian’s lawyer Marty Singer instantly refuted the claims of another footage, describing it as an attempt to garner attention and fame.
Ray J also indirectly denied Wack 100’s allegations, stating that he was focused on staying off the radar and spending time with his family.
